Dear Doll Lover~
When we discovered this doll with multiple joints that can
be posed in oh so many ways with her fabulous pout, we could
not resist her. Dollikin captured our hearts like no other.
The first doll we purchased was a project
doll. She required new elastic bands and one of her hands was
off. It took a good deal of time, but we took her apart, cleaned
her, re-strung her, set her hair and made her a new outfit…and
Ta-Da! She was looking mighty fine for someone of her age.
The products and guides you find here have come about through
much experimentation and experience. In the past we simply
repaired the Dollikin dolls and then found them new homes. As
our family of friends who enjoyed these dolls grew, so did the
desire to help others put their own dolls together, and to clothe
them and surround them with wonderful things made just for them.
Added into this mix were the new ball joint dolls from Japan
and Korea. We could not resist them and they too became part
of the family of dolls we enjoy so much.
Introducing Zelda
Zelda was in the worst shape
of any Dollikin we had ever purchased. She was found in the
bottom of a box of doll clothes purchased on eBay. |
